Tracy L. Yarbrough, MD, PhD, MAEd, FACNM

Dr. Yarbrough received her MD and PhD in physiology and biophysics from the University of Iowa. Her internship in family medicine was followed by a residency in nuclear medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Yarbrough's clinical and research interest lie primarily within the areas of nuclear cardiology, diagnosis of inflammation and infection and undergraduate and graduate medical education. 

​

She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, and, along with Dr. Bartel, has authored and edited educational publications in the field of nuclear medicine both online and in print. 

​

Dr. Yarbrough is certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. 

​

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dogs, hiking, and dancing.
